Be sure to bring in your extra harvest to share with our community too! In collaboration with Whispering Roots, we’re accepting donations of fresh produce from the garden, which will be turned into delicious and nutritious meals served at local shelters – or shared directly with dozens of underserved communities in our city. It’s all part of our Plant to Give initiative.

Help us celebrate the fall season with a friendly pie contest — we can’t wait to see who will steal our hearts with the best homemade pie! Check back in soon to see this year’s lineup of judges.
Prizes
First Place – $100 Mulhalls gift card
Second Place – $50 Mulhalls gift card

Contest Rules
Entries should be pre-registered by Friday, September 5th by calling 402-496-0700, stopping by our Customer Service desk, or emailing

Only one entry is allowed per person, and you must be present at the event to win.
Both the crust and filling are to be made from scratch. And no frozen dessert pies please – it gets pretty warm in the Greenhouse.
Drop off your pre-registered pie at our store between 12p and 12:30p on Sunday, September 8th.
Entries will be judged by our official pie-testers, and tasting will be open to the public starting at 1:30p.
Winners will be announced at 1:45p
