Hamilton Loomis, a Galveston, Texas native, grew up surrounded by music with musician parents who loved blues, rock, and soul. He picked up drums, piano, guitar, and harmonica, and performed with his family’s doo-wop group.

At 16, Loomis met Bo Diddley at Houston's Rockefeller's, and by the end of the night, he was playing guitar with the legend. Diddley became a mentor, collaborator, and gifted Loomis a red guitar he still plays today.

Known for his high-energy performances, Loomis brings his music to life on stage, inspiring audiences to sway, clap, and get involved. Described as a “non-stop turbo of power” by Blues Blast Magazine, Hamilton Loomis is a must-see act.
