Celebrating Black History Month and 100 Years of Negro History Week, Black Planet is an immersive performance creating space for rest, reflection, movement, and healing around the cosmos and the power of music.
Featuring Edem Soul and Riz The DJ, this experience invites attendees to practice active listening and reflection while engaging with sound, voice, and the visual environment of the stars.
The program will explore Black historical and cultural relationships to the cosmos, including ancestral navigation, afrofuturism, and the contributions of Black scientists and thinkers.
Join us at the Mallory Kountze Planetarium for this one of a kind experience.
Blankets, yoga mats, or pillows are welcome.
