Martel's Candlight Tour- Marble Arch Caves

Step back in time and join us for a unique experience as Sean Corrigan brings the legendary Edouard Martel's 1895 exploration of the Marble Arch Caves to life as we celebrate 130 years since this first exploration of the cave.

On Wednesday 16th July from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, embark on a thrilling adventure through the show cave with only the glow of lanterns to guide you. With the electric lights switched off, you'll assist Edouard Martel on his journey and hear captivating tales of his groundbreaking discoveries.

Sean Corrigan, a passionate caver and advocate for the Speleological Union of Ireland, will lead this immersive re-enactment.
