James Harries pochází z Manchesteru a v současné době žije střídavě ve Velké Británii a České republice. Během uplynulých dvou desetiletí absolvoval turné po Velké Británii, Evropě a USA a sdílel pódium s umělci tak rozmanitými, jako jsou Jamie Cullum, Glen Hansard, Oh Wonder, Fairport Convention, Wayne Shorter, Stewart Lee a mnoha dalšími. Časopis Rolling Stone ho nazval „zlatým hlasem“.
V říjnu se James Harries vrací s novým albem Love & Desire – odvážným, emocionálně bohatým a signalizujícím novou kapitolu v jeho neustále se vyvíjejícím zvuku. Inspirováno přeexponovanou fotografií, pořízenou jeho malým synem na zapomenutý fotoaparát, je oslavou nedokonalosti a spontánnosti.

James Harries comes from Manchester and currently lives alternately in the UK and the Czech Republic. Over the past two decades, he has toured the UK, Europe, and the US, sharing the stage with artists as diverse as Jamie Cullum, Glen Hansard, Oh Wonder, Fairport Convention, Wayne Shorter, Stewart Lee, and many others. Rolling Stone magazine called him “the golden voice.”
In October, James Harries returns with a new album, Love & Desire—bold, emotionally rich, and signaling a new chapter in his ever-evolving sound. Inspired by an overexposed photograph taken by his young son on a forgotten camera, it is a celebration of imperfection and spontaneity.
