Appassimento & Ripasso Tasting 2026
Join us on February 15th, 2026 at 1pm for a guided tasting exploring the rich, layered world of Appassimento and Ripasso–style wines at Intersection Estate Winery. This sit down, group experience will dive into the techniques behind partially dried grapes and wine re-fermentation, revealing how these methods build depth, texture, and concentration in the glass. Guests will taste through selected wines while learning how ripeness, time, and patience shape bold aromas, plush mouthfeel, and savoury complexity — a perfect winter tasting for lovers of expressive, full-bodied reds.
The tasting will be primarily a sit-down event. There will be some snacks to accompany the tasting. We will have some of the back vintage wines and our current selection available for sale. If you have any questions on the tasting, please let us know. If we get enough response for this tasting, we'll be offering a later session as well.
