TN Enhanced Handgun Permit

To qualify for a Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit, students must attend and pass an 8-hour certified course covering handgun safety, carry laws, use of deadly force, and legal liabilities. Graduates receive the certification needed to apply for the permit.

Students must pre-register with the state via TN.gov.

Required Equipment: A handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition, ID, safety gear, and appropriate clothing. Handguns and ammo are available for rent or purchase at the range.
