BREWD – Taking Action for Business

This initiative is one of many projects developed in direct response to the 2025 BREWD (Business Retention & Expansion Workforce Development) survey, which captured insights from over 700 businesses across Central Alberta. Each project addresses specific challenges and opportunities identified by local businesses—supporting growth, innovation, and resilience throughout the region.

AI Awareness Workshop Series

This AI Awareness Workshop Series is the first initiative launched in direct response to the 2025 BREWD survey. The survey revealed a strong and consistent message: AI is both a challenge and an opportunity for local businesses across Central Alberta. The AI Awareness Workshop Series will provide practical, hands-on training to help local businesses understand and apply AI—meeting a key need identified directly by our region’s business community.
