This show is split into three parts: the Friday Futurity, the Saturday-Sunday Welsh & Open Main Show—and new this year—the Saturday Open Pony/Horse Hunter Over Fences (taking place in a separate ring). An outline of each is below.

1) FRIDAY WELSH & HALF-WELSH YOUNGSTOCK FUTURITY & PERFORMANCE STAKE
- Classes: registered Welsh & Half-Welsh youngstock halter (foal to 2-year-old) and Futurity Welsh & Half-Welsh performance (aged 3-8). No nomination required, as with some other breeds.
- Date: Friday, August 29, 2025, starting 9 am
- Judge: TBD

2) SAT-SUN MAIN WELSH & OPEN SHOW (double-judged)
- classes: Welsh & Half-Welsh Breed Halter as well as Open Halter, including: Sport Pony, Model Hunter, Model Dressage, and Showmanship. Welsh & Open Liberty classes, too!
Open performance, including: English & Western Pleasure & Equitation, two days of Driving, Mounted Games & Fun Classes, Lead-Line, and Nervous Nellies (riders over 40).

ABOUT THE SHOW
As a reminder, we offer classes for Welsh Ponies and Cobs, alongside many open classes—registered and unregistered ponies and horses are welcomed, so tell all your equine friends! It's a family-friendly show with both competitive and fun classes; we have a wide variety of in-hand, riding, and driving classes for all ages and skill levels.
Welsh / Half-Welsh owners: although most of the show consists of open classes, we do offer a full Welsh halter and driving division on Saturday morning as well as the Friday Futurity. This means that we offer Welsh owners a three-in-one judging opportunity—a great bonus, as western Canada offers so few Welsh shows.
