Last time( and every time) we had Stax the eventsold out, this legendary nine-piece professional band continues to dazzle audiences with their dynamic brass section and powerhouse performances.
A reputation that needs no introduction. This original 9 piece party band born and bred in Manchester back in 1983 are 'The Real Deal'.
Their genuine, finger-popping, foot tapping, high energy, full-on party performance has now been in demand for over three decades across the UK and beyond. If you came to this show last time, you know that you are in for a good night. If this is your first time, bring your dancing shoes.
We also have Soul, Motown and Northern Soul dance floor fillers all night till midnight by the brilliant and much in demand Dave Sweetmore.
There will be a dance floor in front of the band, we encorage you to dance :-)
Arrive early if you wish to guarantee a seat in the main room, there is also seating in the upstairs balcony. We can not save seats they are on a first come first serve basis. There is a bar and a can bar selling drinks at a reasonable pub price, no glass in the ball room please. The can bar sells everything apart from draught if you wish to get served quickly
