We’re SOUPer excited for our first outing to Oldham!

Join us as we enjoy the wonderful major solo show from artist Akinyemi Oludele. We’ll hear from curator Luca about their collaboration to bring this exhibition to life, before settling in to a cosy evening together with a SOUP supper.

1853 Studios is an artist-led creative studios, event space, and gallery project located in the historic Osborne Mill in Oldham. They are home to a community of over 70 artists, makers, and creative businesses, occupying two floors of the mill, each with their own private studio.

Through their two gallery spaces, they host a diverse range of exhibitions, performances, and multidisciplinary events. Their mission is to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive cultural hub in Oldham, nurturing local artists and providing distinctive, high-quality events for the local community.

For this edition of SOUP, we will be re-making our beloved vegan pea soup with optional garnishes of crème fraîche, cream cheese and mixed seeds.
