On New Year's Day, let's explore a section of the Old Suwanee River in all its majesty, history & pure natural beauty!
Meet time is 9:00 am at Joe Anderson Public Boat Ramp 113 SE 155th Ave, Old Town, FL 32680
directly across the river from Fannings state park. Drop your vessels and gear and join the shelf shuttle brigade as we stage vehicles at the takeout - Manatee Springs State park that costs $6 parking fee and closes at sundown.
Our mission if you dare, is to launch by 10:00 am & float downstream the entire day till dinner time.
While paddling down river on the Suwanee we will paddle into 2 separate springs for swimming, snorkeling, hiking & exploration.
Today's agenda means you can cross Fanning Springs & Manatee Springs off your bucket list.
We will try our best 2 be off the water around 5:00 pm since the next day is a work day.
Please bring all your provisions & gear for the day. Remember your responsible for your own safety!
