Healing Childhood Wounds: Reclaiming Your Core Self

We cannot get through this life unwounded, but our wounds are more tender when we are young and vulnerable. The adults in our childhood may not have been able to provide the safety and love we needed, and we may have felt rejected, abandoned, shamed, or betrayed. As we integrated painful beliefs about our own lovability, we forgot who we were born to be.

Join us for this day of deep listening to that inner little girl through meditation, connection, creative expression, movement, and ritual. Reacquaint yourself with her playfulness, creativity, and tender heart. Open the door to remembering your core self and begin to allow yourself to heal and receive her gifts.

Your facilitator, Deb Peters, PhD is a licensed psychologist in private practice for 30 years, a Spiritual Director, Reiki master, and Life-Cycle Celebrant specializing in healing and transition ceremonies Using both psychological and spiritual approaches, she weaves deep listening, connection, nature, energy work, creative expression, and embodiment practices through movement and ritual to facilitate healing and personal growth.
