S.T.A.R.T: Students Taking Action, Rising Together

START is a youth civic engagement and professional development event designed to equip high school students with the tools they need to become effective leaders in their communities. The program integrates career readiness with civic learning, providing participants with both practical skills and meaningful connections.

Students will participate in:

• Resume and career development workshops to strengthen professional skills.
• Public speaking training to build confidence and communication abilities.
• A panel discussion with elected officials and community leaders, offering direct insights into civic leadership and public service.
• Free professional headshots, ensuring students leave with resources that support future opportunities.
• Networking opportunities with peers and professionals who share a commitment to leadership and civic engagement.
