Yes! Training is suitable for all sizes, and fitness levels. Classes are adapted to each individual, and can help improve fitness, mobility, and weight management if that’s your goal.
2) What happens in a typical class?
Every session is different, but usually includes:
Striking drills (pads, mitts, etc.)
Kata (forms) with modern self-defence applications
Partnered self-defence practice

3) Do I need special equipment?
To start, just bring comfortable clothing, a drink, and a towel. If you decide to continue, we can provide uniforms (Gi) and equipment.

Pay as you train: £10 per class
Monthly plan: £40 (a saving across the year)

5) How does progression work?
We follow a traditional Japanese ranking system:
Beginners start at 10th Kyu, working down to 1st Kyu.

Yes. Our training is very practical, with kata and drills designed for realistic self-defence, not for competition.
