900th Anniversary of the Village of Newnham (Nr. Hook)

Celebration of the 900th anniversary of the founding of the village of Newnham.
While there is no definitive record of when ‘New Ham’ or new settlement was created but the village’s formal existence is intertwined with the building of a permanent stone church
It is believed that St Nicholas’s Church was consecrated in 1125 AD.

Also very worth a visit to the delightful Old House at Home pub which will be providing a hog roast and outside bar.
