For our October service project, we are teaming up with the owners of N8's Barbershop to help provide a Thanksgiving meal to local Olathe families in need.
KindCraft will be accepting donations of non-perishable items including canned green beans, canned corn, canned cranberry sauce, mac n cheese, stove top stuffing mix, gravy packets or jars of gravy, mashed potatoes, and cookies. They do not have to be specific brands-any and all will be appreciated!
At our event on 10/28, families will hear how the owners of N8's Barbershop started this act of kindness and how it has grown over the years. They will share their story of kindness and community giving.
We will then package up the donations and make lots of Fall crafts such as centerpieces, placemats, Fall banners, and more. Our crafty touch and kind notes will be the perfect topping to this community project.
Hope you can join us! This is a free event but we would love for you to bring some donations for the Thanksgiving Bags. Registration will open on our website www.kindcraft.org on September 1 at 7am.
