WHAT: Wanderlust Schoolers Homeschool Pod
WHO: Grades 7-12 (16 SPOTS AVAILABLE)
WHERE: Okotoks Rec Center plus offsite trips
WHEN: Mondays 9:45-2:30 (sept 15 – dec 15, excluding thanksgiving and November break)
COST: $275 per student plus parent to volunteer for 1 day or $350 per student *note - a few days, students will need to cover the cost of access to specialty activities onsite Ex. swimming, the workout gym – days passes, 10 pack pass or resident grade 8 pass can be used
What will we be doing?
program will be developed with the interests/preferences of the individuals who join *your input is important
physical activity (some free time and some instructed sessions)
*some days will be outside
self study time/ book club/ group projects/study groups
hang out time in the teen area with access to ping pong/pool tables, fuse ball table and more equipment/board and card game time
parent volunteer topic sessions
outsourced classes depending on the groups’ interests
Science 10 for 1 hour everyday (if interested)
access to English tutor/feeback
community volunteer opportunities
offsite field trips
