Demonstration and hands-on class: Pete will demonstrate how NY Jewish Sourdough Rye is mixed and then class participants will mix their own dough (to be fermented and baked at home). Class participants will also receive rye sourdough starter and a bag of freshly milled whole-grain rye flour. After class, students will (hopefully) have learned the basic skills to begin creating rye breads or to increase their rye bread skills in their own kitchens. Recipes are included.

This is strictly a demonstration class: Learn how to make fresh and delicious salas from scratch with jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, black pepper, salt & crushed red pepper and other ingredients. Alberto will demonstrate salsa picosa, (spicy salsa), salsa tomatillo and guacamole. Alberto is a native of Reynosa, Mexico and is an expert on Mexican cuisine and the general manager of Kaiser’s. Yes, you will get to taste the salsas/guac Alberto demonstrates. Recipes are included.
