New Marian Statue public opening

The new Our Lady of the Rosary statue is dedicated in honor of Father Tom McSherry, who courageously stepped in to lead the parish following the martyrdom of Father Stanley Rother. Father McSherry’s steadfast faith and leadership during a time of profound grief and uncertainty left a lasting impact on the community, and this statue serves as a tribute to his legacy and courage. “I am not Stan Rother. I’ve kind of had to work with what God gave me – and not what God gave Stan. But I felt called to be sent. That’s what it means to be a missionary.” ~ Father Tom McSherry.
