St Paul's, Grace Church, and the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma are excited to sponsor Marriage Matters 2026.
This year there are two tracks to Marriage Matters:
1) Marriage Essentials - Fri 6:30-8:30pm, Sat 9am-12pm
This workshop is an opportunity for you and your spouse to step back and take some time for yourselves! Through an evening and the next day some topics include:
- Discovering and leaning on your values
- Healthy communication
- Healthy fights
- Increasing connection
- Marriage as a Sacrament
The program has several exercises you will do with your spouse to help you reflect on your lives and the future you want to build together. Part one begins Friday evening and part two is all day Saturday. Due to the length and capacities of the church, childcare is not available. It is suggested that you have been married at least one year.
2) Marriage & Parenting - Sat 12-5pm
This track focuses on communication and teamwork as parents
- from who does what to get everything done
- to finances & balance
- to parenting together and into the teenager years.
Uncovering hidden assumptions, opening communication and increasing teamwork all you lean into your marriage as you parent.
The workshops are led by Tara Fritsch, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Fr. Tim and Mthr. Kirsten from Grace Church in Yukon serve as chaplains.
PLEASE NOTE - THE TRACKS CAN BE REGISTERED FOR TOGETHER OR SEPARATE.
