Join award-winning Cherokee artist Ronda Moss for a hands-on holiday workshop where you’ll create your own pine needle ornament using long leaf pine needles and a hand-made pottery disc. This is a warm, welcoming class perfect for anyone wanting to learn a traditional art form and craft something meaningful for the season.
Ronda will guide participants step-by-step while sharing stories and insight from her Cherokee heritage. By the end of class, you’ll take home a finished ornament that blends tradition with contemporary design.

About the Artist
Ronda Moss (Cherokee Nation) is an accomplished basket maker known for her pine needle work and miniature double-wall vine baskets. She received the Kathleen Upshaw Award at the 2023 Red Earth Festival and is dedicated to preserving the cultural traditions of her tribe through teaching and storytelling.
