About Joe Thompson:
A blue collar baritone troubadour with a rust belt work ethic. His songs are Americana made. They are simple. They are sturdy. They are blues and country with the rebellious heart of rock and roll. His stories are those of the human heart, the unrequited kiss, and the insufferable goofball. His solo acoustic sets meander through his original songs and the American Songbook of classic musical theatre, blues, 1960’s folk, 1970’s classic and outlaw country and heartland rock and roll. He plays all over his native Western Pennsylvania landscape and invites to join him and escape, for just a moment.
