The Oglethorpe Library Book Club meets the last Thursday of each month at 12:15 PM. This month we are reading “Go as a River” by Shelly Read. We would love for you to join us!

Go as a River by Shelley Read is a historical, coming-of-age novel about Victoria Nash, a young woman on a Colorado peach farm whose life is upended by a chance encounter with a drifter in 1948, forcing her to flee her home and embark on a journey of survival, love, and resilience through the wilderness. Inspired by true events, the story follows Victoria as she navigates loss, heartbreak, and unexpected strength, exploring themes of family, home, and finding one's way, much like a river finding its path.
