Ghosts of Starved Rock's Past-7:00 PM Tour

Not your typical haunted hike but the ghosts along the trail to Starved Rock will share their stories of life, hardships, and death and how they left their mark at Starved Rock State Park.

This program is not suitable for young children. Dogs/pets are not allowed on guided hikes, indoor programs, or indoor events unless they are certified service animals.

Participants will be guided by park staff on a 45 minute walking tour at night along a low-lit paved path and wooden staircase (65 steps) to the top of Starved Rock, down along the Illinois River, and back to the main parking lot.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your tour at the Starved Rock Visitor Center with a small flashlight or headlamp and dressed for the weather and trails.
