Autumn Qigong Workshop with Britta
Discover the ancient practice of Qigong (pronounced Chee-gong), a gentle Chinese art combining slow movement, breathwork, and meditation to cultivate and balance your body’s energy (Qi). As the ancestor of Tai Chi, Qigong helps reduce stress, support emotional well-being, improve physical health, hydrate fascia and joints, boost energy, and strengthen the immune system. Suitable for all ages, Britta also incorporates gentle yoga stretches at the end of each session.
This workshop celebrates the Season of Autumn, a time to soften, turn inward, and nurture your body. We will focus on strengthening the lungs—your first line of defense against illness—and enhancing overall immune function. Explore the element of Metal and connect with the Tiger, the animal associated with Autumn, through movement and meditation.
