Please join Pastor DanaLee Simon for “Gathering Our Grief” – a course for the purpose of exploring and sharing both our personal and collective experiences of grief. So often, we feel alone in the grief and sorrow we carry. These gatherings are designed to offer a safe space where you can express your grief and also be a witness to others as they do the same. We are not alone in all we carry. What happens when we can talk about our sorrows and set them free from living only inside ourselves? If this is a question you are curious about exploring, please come!
Our exploration will include prayer, Scripture, poetry, rituals, storytelling, listening, and writing from a prompt. I will help create a safe container where you can show up bravely and as your authentic self. No grief is too big or small to bring to these gatherings. I imagine a wide range of exploration.
When: Tuesdays in October (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th)
What Time: 6:15-7:30 p.m.
