We are proud to present Tolü Makay & Special Guests, Sorcha Fahy & Olivia Burke, as part of the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport funded Grassroots series of events John Lee’s Bar & Music Venue, Tullamore, on Saturday 23rd August 2025.
Tolü is one of Ireland’s most compelling, soulful voices. Raised in Tullamore, Tolü attended local schools like Scoil Mhuire and Tullamore College, and she’s spoken lovingly of her time spent by the canal, and at the local church choir.
With a career that’s seen her headline major festivals, stun audiences with her soulful renditions, and represent Offaly on stages from Dublin to Dubai, Tolü’s sound is as authentic as it is inspiring.
Tolü will be supported by 2 more local female artists, Sorcha Fahy and Olivia Burke.
Sorcha Fahy will be joining Tolü as support at this full female line up. Sorcha is known for her powerful, haunting vocal style - and having recently come from supporting Lisa Hannigan nearby, she is thrilled to be joining this line up.
Olivia Burke is the third act in this all female line up. She describes music as a form of communication, emphasising emotional honesty and personal connection in her performances and recordings. No stranger to John Lee's stage, we are delighted to welcome Olivia Burke back on Saturday 24th August for this special event.
