Dub Carnival 2026 - Two Nights of Roots & Stepper Dub
The autonomous cultural center LaKuZ proudly presents the 13th edition of Dub Carnival – two heavy nights of Roots and Stepper Dub in the heart of Langenthal.
Since 2012, Dub Carnival has grown into a solid pillar of Langenthal’s Fasnacht. While brass bands fill the streets and bars, LaKuZ becomes a meeting point for sound system culture, welcoming dub lovers from all over Switzerland and beyond. Here, reggae dub vibrations meet curious “Fasnächtler” and everyone looking for an alternative rhythm during carnival time.
Once again, massive sound systems, deep basslines and conscious messages will turn LaKuZ into a place of unity, movement and positive energy.

Jah Roots HiFi (GE) & Alpha Pup (Portugal)
Pure roots power! Jah Roots HiFi is a major reggae promoter from Geneva, running their own label and representing authentic sound system culture. Together with Alpha Pup on the mic, delivering sharp lyrics and spiritual awareness, this session is made for heavy and uplifting moments. We are really looking forward to it.
Dubrise Sound (Germany)
Just the thought of Dubrise from Munich playing in the small, charming Lakuz sends goosebumps down our spines and lets us feel the vibrations all the way to our toes. They have been touring together since 2012 and have now played many sessions with numerous sounds from all over the world (UK, MEX, FR, CH, DE, JAM...). After missing last year due to illness, they’re finally here — and we couldn’t be happier.
Humanity Sound (GE)
Back in Langenthal with their unmistakable warmth and power. Humanity Sound stands for conscious reggae dub, deep selections and pure dedication. Known for creating intense and uplifting sessions, they once again bring their positive energy and heavy bass to Dub Carnival.
Malakita Sound (TI)
Founded in 2019 in Terre di Pedemonte (Locarno), Malakita Soundsystem is a roots, dub & stepper dub crew driven by heavy bass and positive vibrations. Inspired by malachite, the stone of the heart chakra, Malakita spreads conscious sound, unity and healing energy through sound system culture.
Ratong (BE)
A selectress known for energetic sets and a broad musical spectrum within dub culture. From roots to steppers, Ratong knows how to keep the dance moving and the vibes high.
Shabbs (BE)
A well-known, highly regarded, and passionate promoter of the reggae scene. Usually seen with his kette drum, but anyone who doesn't yet know his selection should definitely not miss this.
Pacemaker Sound System (BE)
The local backbone of Dub Carnival. Pacemaker Sound is deeply connected to LaKuZ and its community, known for quality sound, dedicated selections and true sound system spirit. Powered by heavyweight speakers – built for serious vibrations.
