Decision Making with Data: The Leap to Advanced Analytics

Ryan Pillette, Lead Data Scientist with Booz Allen, will guide us through the process of creating a data visualization readiness tool from thirty years of 3M data. Pillette will share how Booz Allen’s journey began with a data set, the AI techniques used to clean and enhance the data, and how the team designed a dashboard to be a decision-making tool, rather than just a report.

Speaker Bio:

Ryan Pillette began his career in defense intelligence as an analyst for the U.S. Army where he led an all-source intelligence team during Operation Enduring Freedom 11-12. After serving in uniform, he transitioned to contracting, where he supported organizations including the Department of the Army Intelligence Information Services and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. For the last five years, he has worked with Navy offices in NAVSEA, NAVWAR, and NAVFAC. He currently supports the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office for the Department of Defense as a computer programmer and data scientist. He holds a Masters of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech.
