All the way from Australia and in collaboration with Teater Momentum and ISLA Collective, come see The Thursday Group’s immersive play Falling Heads: Estranged twins, Tomasz and Steph find themselves on opposite sides of two warring tribes. One fights for the supremacy of mind over body, the other defends the sovereignty of the senses.… to the death. In fable style, Falling Heads examines history mistold as a tool of the state. Who wins when the story is lost?

In development since late 2023, Thursday Group’s latest production Falling Heads is a co-devised work collated and directed by Matthew Crosby. Andrea Albernaz of ISLA Collective together with two Danish performers will join the Melbourne cast. Expect fable, acapella, movement and reportage that engages with contemporary themes such as fake news, authoritarian ideology and the schism between mind and body.
