Music & Brain Health Jam Session with AARP

Discover the rhythms of music therapy in this three-part Friday Jam Session series for Older Adults at the Oceanside Public Library Community Rooms. Led by certified music therapists from 'Resounding Joy', you’ll explore how music can support brain health and well-being. Learn about the latest brain health research from AARP in this interactive, in-person, music-making experience. No musical experience required!

By fostering physical well-being, positive attitudes, and enrichment for the mind, body, and spirit, the program tailors activities to each individual’s abilities. Participants can engage in drum circles, singing, and songwriting — often inspired by nostalgic tunes that spark meaningful memories.
