Beach Clean Up with Nomadix and 5 Gyres
Come join us for a day of making a difference at the Oceanside Pier! Nomadix and 5 Gyres are teaming up to clean up a beautiful beach and collect valuable data in the process.
5 Gyres will provide the reusable gloves, bags, and trash grabbers, Nomadix will bring the coffee and sunscreen - all you need to do is bring a reusable water bottle and coffee cup!
After our cleanup, 5 Gyres will show everyone how to log the trash data into the app, so that Oceanside's local officials can access the information to make informed policy decisions about the city's waste management practices. Once the data is logged, we will head over to Green Cheek in Oceanside to raise a glass to a successful day!
Together, we can help protect our oceans and marine life by removing trash and plastic waste from the shoreline. Don't miss out on this opportunity to give back to the environment while enjoying the sun, sand, and sea.
