Film Screening & Talk: Yesterday (UK), Introduction by Travis Atria, The Magic of The Beatles Song

After a freak accident during a worldwide blackout, struggling musician Jack Malik wakes to discover that he is the only person in the world to remember The Beatles. Using this newfound benefit to his advantage, Jack begins plagiarizing the work of the legendary band to launch his career to superstardom.

Travis Atria is a distinguished author and musician whose multifaceted career spans acclaimed literary works and notable musical achievements will introduce the film with a discussion about the magic of the Beatles song. Atria's writing has been featured in esteemed publications such as Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, The Believer, and Wax Poetics. As a musician, Atria's compositions have been featured on platforms such as the Sony film Love Again, FX's Better Things, MTV's The Real World, and GQ.com. He has performed at prominent festivals including Bonnaroo and SXSW.
