🐕 Bring your dogs out for a day of fun in the water!
🎉This event is hosted by Kyla McKenzie and Britney Brown to celebrate their 21st birthdays.
This will be ran similarly to a competition.
If you’ve never dock dived before, no worries!! This is not sanctioned, it’s all for fun!
>Here’s a run down of how the day will go:
•10 AM arrival time, setting up, check ins, list of dogs in jumping order.
•10:30 AM first dog on dock, 2-3 jumps per splash, judged for distance jump.
•11:45 AM food break for everyone, practice jumps / try its as time permits.
•12:00 PM Splash 2
•1:30 PM Finals
•2 PM Placing announcement and rewards.
•2:30 PM Clean up, ensure the property is left clean. Poop picked up, no trash, no belongings left behind…
•3 PM end of pool rental, scatter!
Entries are $20 for 1 dog, covering both splashes. It’s $5 per additional dog.
This covers 2 scored jumps, 1 optional practice jump per splash.
If your dog makes top 5 in their division, they will compete in finals with 2 scored jumps.
Donations are appreciated. Help setting up, calling dogs, ensuring rules are being followed and further assistance throughout the day is greatly appreciated.
We will have prizes for 1st and 2nd place dogs in each division.
If your dog doesn’t go far, don’t worry! There are divisions dividing distances. You have a chance!!
Divisions are as follows:
⭐️Novice: up to 9’11”
🌟Junior: 10’-14’11”
✨Senior: 15’-19’11”
💫Master: 20’-24’11”
☄️Elite: 25’+
Rules are as follows:
>ALL poop must be picked up. There are poop bags on the premises, if you need help please ask!
>ALL dogs off the dock must be kept on leash if not secured in a vehicle or crate.
>ALL dogs must be kept under control, if you need help at any point please ask!
>This is a supportive environment, no toxicity. We’re here to have fun and celebrate two birthdays.
>ALL trash must be thrown away.
>Help will be provided for those who need it on the dock.
>Lunch will be provided, homemade or store bought additions are GREATLY appreciated.
>All general dock diving rules are to be followed.
>Have fun!
Entry fees are to help cover the cost of the pool rental. Gifts for Britney and Kyla are appreciated but not necessary. Donations for first and second place prizes are appreciated. Donations to further cover the rental fee are appreciated.
