Oberon Headquarters will be hosting our annual GET READY WEEKEND
on Saturday the 13th of September 10am-2pm
We will have a table set up with lots of give aways and all the information you need to prepare your self, your home and your family for the up coming bushfire season.
Grab your bush fire survival plan or talk to our firefighters on how you can do this online.
Our fire appliances will be on display. We will have a bit of fun with some water at 11:30-12noon weather depending, our firefighters may also do a live fire demonstration again weather dependent.
This year we reached out to our friends from Oberon SES, they will have their shed open to show you all their cool toys. They will also have a road crash rescue demonstration.
St Johns Ambulance will be there to give you a safety run down if you ever find your self in a situation where you need help and what steps you can take in a time of need.
We will have the BBQ cooking from 10am
so come on down and grab your free sausage sandwich and can of drink.
