Celebrate NEOEA day with George Jones Farm!
Join the farmers and naturalists who work at the farm on a guided hike through the George Jones Memorial Farm and Wetland Preserve! We are home to many biomes, landscapes, flora, fungi, and fauna. Prepare to hike at moderately brisk pace, venture off trail, and discuss environmental topics impacting our farm, watershed, and local communities. Participants should come prepared to hike, in appropriate layers and footwear, and can expect to walk up to 3 miles. Hikes will continue on as scheduled, rain or shine, and will only be canceled for severe weather.

Age Range: Open to all ages! However, please consider the pace and length of the program if you plan on bringing children under 12.
Cost: $10 per person (for NEOEA members). Pre-Registration is REQUIRED by October 6th.
Please note: While nonmembers of NEOEA are welcome, an additional fee of $10 paid to NEOEA is required to attend. Students enrolled in accredited teacher-preparation programs may have this additional fee waived.
