We'll meet in front of Rise and Grind on 18th St in Oakland, grab a cup of something if desired, and start our journey around Lake Merritt by 10:10 am, walking clockwise and ending at around 11:30 am
The total distance is 3.2-mile loop on paved pathways, and if anyone would like to bring their well-behaved dog to come along, then your four-footed friend is welcome!
We'd love to hear about what you've been reading, fun travel plans, and all the news. The event will be rescheduled if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Things to bring: Hat, sunscreen, good walking shoes, water bottle.
Optional: If anyone wants to have brunch at Portal after our walk, we can decide the day of.
