TOOL SALE: Back With Even More Tools!!!

It hardly seems possible but the Friends of the Oakland Tool Lending Library will have even more tools at this Saturday's Tool Sale. Added to the collection is a doweling jig, a bench top jointer, a 16-gauge pneumatic finish nailer, and a 6x12" bench top surfacer -- all Porter Cable and in very good condition. There's the Wen version of the Dremel tool, another corded circular saw, a folding work table, a ShiopVac, several nice metal toolboxes, more wrenches, the promise of more garden tools, and who know what else will come in on Saturday, Worth stopping by whether you're a buyer or just browsing. Also: You can bring by your own surplus tools to donate to the cause. Also #2: Chat with the friendly FOTLL volunteers about joining their merry band. Beside the Tool Sale on the first and third Saturday of almost every month, there are activities like the Junior Carpenters' Club (seven sessions coming up at two locations in September and October) and the Piedmont Harvest Festival on September 21.
