How to approach this gathering:
Our hope is that people feel comfortable dropping in and hanging out in a variety of ways. Tables will be set up for sitting down to eat at but also couches and lounge areas for just relaxing and chatting.
Everyone, including your children, your parents, your neighbors, your quirky uncle or odd aunt, is welcome. Please, however, do leave your pets at home.
Have plans already? Visit the family first, then come over. Or come over first, then visit the family. Just come over.
Parking:
We are a 10-15 minute walk from Lake Merritt BART. Parking can be tight in the neighborhood on the streets. There is a cheap 24/7 parking garage two blocks away at 2nd and Harrison.
Food & Beverage:
Your Favorite Thanksgiving dish or dessert. This can be a turkey, goose, quail, pheasant, partridge, pear tree, mashed potatoes, smashed potatoes, roadkill potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, toffee-topped pumpkin pie.
