Obsidian Pole Jam and Intro Pole Class

Join us for a welcoming, community-centered pole dance experience!

• Step into our unique Djed Pole Jam with music by DJ Quintessence, known for curating vibrant soundscapes for freeform dance communities.
• Come dance on or off the pole in Obsidian Healing Camp’s beautiful dance studio.
• This is a mixed-level jam with an emphasis on community knowledge-sharing, exploration, and supportive growth.

Sliding Scale: $15–$20

• This range helps us fairly support the healing space, organizers, instructors, and DJ—while keeping the event accessible.
• If cost is a barrier, please reach out about volunteer options.
• We never want finances to be the reason someone can’t participate.

1:00–2:00pm — Intro to Pole Class
Learn pole fundamentals in a friendly, no-experience-needed environment.

2:00–4:00pm — Mixed-Level Pole Jam
Explore pole dance in community with space to practice, share, and play.

This is a shared space for safety, joy, and respect.

Consent first. No uninvited touch, spotting, or physical interaction. Honor personal boundaries and spatial awareness.

Speak kindly. No comments on bodies, skills, or appearance. No shaming or disrespect.

Zero tolerance for harm:
Hate speech, discrimination, transphobia, homophobia, racism, ableism, fatphobia, sexism, or any hate-motivated behavior will result in removal.

Community care:
Share the poles and space, uplift each other, and alert organizers to any unsafe behavior.
