Art in Nature : Take a walk and sketch with us

Rock Paper Scissors Collective is excited to offer their first Art in Nature event where we will hike and make art. For our first hike we'll meet at Lake Chabot Space and Science Center (exact meeting point will be emailed to attendees). We'll hike together and during breaks have some time to sketch or paint. Attendees can decide what art tools they want to bring with them.

They can include:

Sketch pad (ideally 8x11")

Pencil/Eraser or Pen

Watercolor materials

Hikes will be accessible via AC transit, bike, or car. RPSC will set the path and break times, but folks attending can decide what to create. Art instruction can be given, but this is not an instructional class on how to draw or paint. More information will be given a few days to prior to the event.

Limit 30 people. We'll try to minimize the talking during our drawing session.

Water bottle

Good walking shoes

Suncreen, hat or sunglasses

*Cancellation if rainy weather. Attendees will need to sign a liability waiver form prior to starting the hike. Youth can attend with their gaurdians.

**Refunds can be provided up to 7 days prior to the event.
