4th Annual Dash for De’Jah 5k

Welcome to the 4th Annual Dash for De’Jah 5k! Get ready to join us on Sat Sep 20, 2025 at the scenic Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA 94612.

This event is all about having fun while supporting a great cause. Run or walk with us and help us with our mission, to help purpose driven college students like De'Jah with financial assistance to pursue their career, sports goals, and /or spiritual connections.

Our course will take you around Lake Merritt. You’ll be cheered on by our enthusiastic volunteers and fellow participants, making it an unforgettable experience.

If you can’t physically attend there is a donation option or you can participate virtually, but must purchase your ticket by August 23rd and your package will be shipped to you(shipping fees will be added).

You can also sponsor a student that would love to be a part of this race, but is unable to purchase a ticket. Please make every effort

We've been able to give $10,000 each year to a college student to assist with tuition. This year we're hoping to raise more and we'll be announcing the winner of the scholarship from the 3rd Annual run at this year's run. Details outlining qualifications and how to apply will be published by 7/15/25.

We will honor De’Jah after the race as it's her birthday. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the race for both male and female.

$75 will include a medal, t-shirt, bag, and bracelet. You are guaranteed a Tshirt, but you must select your t-shirt size by 8/23/25 to get the size of your choice.
