Hello everyone, this is my first ever tourney I’m hosting so bear with me I’m hosting this tourney to raise money for my club season.
Cap’s Check-In: 8:00 AM (send one representative from your team)
First Game Starts: 8:30 AM
⏰ Teams have 10 minutes after the start time. Every minute late = 2 points to the other team.
(Example: 5 minutes late = 10-0 lead for the other team)

RULES:
• Men’s Tournament: EVERYONE IS WELCOMED!
• Hmong Rules apply:
• No stepping on the middle line or crossing over to the other side.
• If you hit the ball outside the pole, it’s considered out.
• No stepping over the serving line – NO WARNINGS.
• Setter must rotate.
• Minimum of 4 players required on the court to start.
• Maximum of 6 players on the court at all times.
• NO TEAM HOPPING – if this happens, all teams involved will be disqualified.
• Whatever the ref calls, goes!
• There will be a roster check!

SCORING:
Pool Play
• Rally scoring to 21 (Round Robin).
• Scoring is capped at 21. If tied 20-20, next point wins.
• Best out of 2 games.
• Split = 1 point each.
• Win both = 3 points.
Bracket play:
• Best out of 3 sets
• Rally scoring until finals no cap,win by two.
Tournament Play
• Rally scoring during pool play and up until finals
• Finals will be side out 15
• Single elimination during play offs
• Will have set refs for the 1 game of pool play but after that losers ref the rest of the time until the finals where I’ll ref and the loser will line judge.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
• top 2 from each bracket advances
• Only 5-minute warmups before games.
• Bring your own volleyballs.
• Only 15 teams this tourney 5 teams per bracket
• Prize will be 700$ for 1st and 120$ plus 10$ deposit for 2nd, entry fee will be 120$ per team with 10$ trash/ref deposit
• must have 15 teams for the cash prize to be that much
• cash or cash app are the only forms of payment accepted.
• will have water/gatorade/pop and snacks so bring cash.
