Historic Walker Ewing Log House Tour

Drop in between 4:30pm - 6:30pm to tour this historic log house and get a glimpse of what life was like back in the 1700s. Hear about the log house's history while learning about flora and fauna that may have been important for survival back when it was built.

Attendees will also learn about ALT's "Panhandle Greenway Conservation Project" - a landscape-scale effort to proactively conserve the green space that makes this part of the county very unique. ALT is working on protecting two projects as part of the Greenway effort - a 30 acre parcel that would expand Settlers Cabin Park and a 42 acre parcel that shades and buffers the beloved Panhandle Trail. Both lands support the Robinson Run Watershed and help to continue this effort to create a green corridor in the area.

Event proceeds support the conservation of this land, so join us to view the log house, learn about historical uses of local flora and fauna, and support conserving green space in the Panhandle Trail corridor!
