Zentangle Workshop

Zentangle is a fun, low-stress, and enjoyable way to create beautiful designs by using structured patterns and easy repeated shapes: dots, lines, orbs, spirals, and various simple curves—and it has been found to soothe and focus the mind as you work.

Learn all about zentangle and create your own piece in this workshop. All supplies included.

Taught by Sara Melton who teaches writing and literature at the University of Tennessee, and has long considered writing as a way into a meditative state. During the last year, she has been delighted to learn and practice the Zentangle method as another such way “inward” for those who, like herself, have trouble using focused breathing for meditation.
