The Share-the-Plate offering recipient for the month of September is our Stone Soup ministry. Since 2010, on the final Friday of each month, volunteers prepare and distribute free meals to the community. ORUUC also maintains a pantry and gives out bags of non-perishable groceries as needed. Financial contributions from ORUUC and our community partner, the Jewish Congregation of Oak Ridge, keep Stone Soup going every month, along with a donation of fresh fruit from Kroger.
