From One Mile to 5K: Beginner Training Group with Angie Corwin
Want to run your first 5K—but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly training group is designed for anyone who dreams of running just one mile without stopping, and crossing the finish line of a 5K race with confidence.
Join Angie Corwin, nationally certified Pilates instructor and movement expert, as she guides you step-by-step through a fun, supportive, and achievable 6-week training program. Together, we’ll train for the Active Southern West Virginia Bridge Day 5K—a community-centered race supporting free physical activity programs throughout the region.
🗓 Program Details
- Starts: Sunday, September 7
- Meets: Every Sunday until Race Day
- Race Day: Saturday, October 18 — Bridge Day 5K in Fayetteville
- Cost: Only $30 per person, plus a discount on the race registration
