Homestead Days at Fort Zumwalt: Learn to live with the land with MU Extension, St Charles County 4-H and the O’Fallon Garden Club! Step into the spirit of self-sufficiency at Zumwalt’s Fort and the Heald Home on September 28th during Homestead Days with MU Extension and the O’Fallon Garden Club!

Take a tour of the historic site, learn from St Charles County 4-H students on how the traditions of homestead livestock has been passed down for generations, get expert advice from Master Gardeners on growing your own fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and explore the nutritional and medicinal uses for your harvest. Whether you’re dreaming of a backyard homestead or simply want to live a little closer to the land, this is your chance to dig in and get inspired.

Admission to Homestead Days is $5/person, payable at the door, and includes tours of the Historic Heald Home and Zumwalt's Fort.
