The Allegro Singers Present: Verdi and Beyond - Celebrating the Great Italian Composters

Join us for an afternoon of beloved arias and duets from the great Italian composers, including Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini. The Allegro Singers, with Inna Leytush at the piano, will present highlights such as a medley from La Traviata and Rigoletto, Leonora’s aria from Il Trovatore, “Ave Maria” from Otello, “O Mio Babbino Caro” from Gianni Schicchi, and Musetta’s Waltz from La Bohème, along with other operatic favorites and selections from popular music.

The Allegro Singers is a group of professional opera singers who, for many years, have provided high quality concerts around the tristate area and abroad. Inna Leytush, founder and music director of Allegro Singers, is an accomplished pianist, teacher, and performer from Ukraine. She holds degrees from the State Moscow Conservatory and the Gorky State Conservatory, and has directed and performed at major venues and international festivals worldwide.
